Montana didn't make a name for itself by being the foodie capital of America. Meat and potatoes have long been the staple of this rural state’s diet but in recent years some of the larger cities like Bozeman, Missoula, and Helena have attracted their fair share of talented chefs and restaurateurs bringing new and exciting dishes to the wild west.

One of those restaurants is Jam! On Main, located in Downtown Bozeman, Montana. Jam! Is a breakfast and lunch joint serving classic dishes with a bold new spin. They have an exciting and urban interior feel that is matched with an upbeat and enthusiastic service staff. Take one step inside their space and you’ll quickly realize why Jam regularly has a two hour wait on an average tuesday morning.

Jam consistently out performs other breakfast restaurant across the state and has gained national attention for the amazing food and unique dining experience. As they grew, so did their need for a new website to better reflect their menu and their atmosphere. That is when they came to us at Slanted. We wanted their new website to look beautiful and function smoothly. We also wanted the website to be a tool that Jam! Could use to progress their business forward and keep daily operations running smoothly. We took this website where no other restaurant website in the area had gone.

Our first steps in creating the website of Jam!’s dreams was to do a full discovery meeting with then and gather all of their wants and needs for the website. We noted that they needed an easy to update menu, a private event inquiry form, a robust home and about page, and high quality imagery of their food and space. We also wanted to remind customers of Jam!'s specific waitlist system and that they do not take reservations. All of these were thoughtfully designed into the website.

Bozeman websites tend to be a few years behind in features and visuals and we wanted this website to feel in line with what tourists visiting from L.A., Austin, and Seattle are accustomed to. We took the standards of what is expected in Bozeman web design and brought it to a new level. This website is packed with custom imagery, modern features, clean user experience and a robust Content Management System. All of these pieces combined make for a powerful website that drives strong SEO results, guides Jam!’s daily operations, and gives users an unmatched experience.
